In the Winter of 2007, the University of Washington is conducting a full credit load program on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi dedicated to integrating a formal academic curriculum with service learning that is committed to meeting the critical needs of those who suffer in the ongoing aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
